Berry Picking in IL

What can be more fun for everyone than berry picking?! Running around outside in the fresh air picking sweet treats while you’re at it. This photo session took place at Choo Choo Farms in Oglesby, IL and it was so much fun!

I think the one who enjoyed berry picking the most was little miss one year old here. She downed berried like it was nobodies business. By the time we were all done she was covered head to toe in berry, it was so sweet.

A photographers goal is always to capture real emotions and smiles, I have to say it was pretty easy to do when the kids were having so much fun. I have really found that doing something a family loves together really adds to the images. This is one of the reasons I have questionnaires on my website once you book a session, to see if there are any hobbies that would work well for a photo session.

Even if it’s not necessarily planned, I always love to get some parent photos. I mean how hard is it to get a natural (and good) picture of you playing with your kid! I know my husband is never snapping pictures of cute moments with my kids and if he does…they are not flattering lol. Sometimes I will just get hands in photos when tossing a kiddo in the air but I absolutely love it when I can get some real parent involvement photos.
